>Did You Vote Today?

>Today is election day in the United States. All over this country, people have a choice to make about who will represent them. You may not have any big election, like governor or senator, but I’d be willing to bet you can chose someone for the local school board or a judge or a township supervisor. Voting for these people may not seem important but they will be making decisions on your behalf. I vote mostly because I cherish the freedom to do so. In many places in this world, I would not be allowed to give my vote because I am a woman. In other places I would be thrown in jail for being a Christian. I do remember that it is a privilage and I should exercise it.

Plus the polling place is conveniently on the way home from Nathan’s babysitter’s house.

Plus my really good friend works the polling place for the Republican committee and I wanted to say Hi. As a bonus she introduced me to this really hot guy that’s running for re-election to the school board. He knew which house was mine. See how much fun voting can be?
